Many times the precious data on our iPhone’s & iPad gets accidentally deleted which is really important, and thus there arises a need to recover the deleted data from our iDevices. Now to recover this data there are various Data recovery softwares available, but we had a chance to review iMyfone D-Back for Mac and it certainly did great on recovering the deleted data on our iPhone 6 during our tests. Now Install iMyfone D-Back by double-clicking on the .dmg file and then dragging and dropping the icon onto the applications icon as shown in the alongside image.
After you have installed the iMyfone D-Back for Mac app, Please connect the iDevice (iPhone or iPad) whose data which you want to recover using the USB lightning cable.
Launch the D-Back app for Mac , Now it will present you with the various recovery options features as shown in the image below – Deleted Data Recovery Modes – iMyfone D-BackHere Simply select the data which was deleted and you intend to recover and click on “Next”. Note – Besides, recovering normal data types like Photos & Videos, D-Back is also able to recover WhatsApp Chat history’s , WeChat , Skype data, Kik history as well as the Bookmarks and Safari History too. After selecting the data type which is to be recovered , Simply Click on “Next”.
Now, the app will ask you the reason for data loss as shown below – iMyfone Data Loss ReasonNow in most cases the green option “deleted or lost data by accident” will work fine, but you can even recover data from locked iPhones with passcode using D-Back .
After selecting the data loss mode, it will ask your permission to start scanning your iPhone or iPad for recoverable data. Please click on the “Scan” button. Depending upon the storage capacity of your iDevice, and the data set selected for recovery, the scan may take some minutes.
After the scanning is done , the D-Back app will show a list of results which can be recovered depending upon the initial search parameters as shown below it really did manage to come up with useful results which we wanted to recover – D-Back Scan Results
Now simply Click on the “Recover” button, and all your data will be recovered!.

iMyfone D-Back for Mac did really great to recover the deleted data in our tests, and is a really efficient and easy solution for iPhone & iPad data Recovery. We covered the Mac version in our review but iMyfone D-Back is available for Windows as well.
